Volunteer with 7th Plymouth Scouts

Looking for a new challenge or a way to give back to your community? Join us at 7th Plymouth Scouts as an adult volunteer!

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering with Scouts isn’t just about tying knots or building fires—though we do a bit of that too! It’s about supporting young people, developing new skills, and making a real difference. Whether you have an hour a week or a few hours a month, your time could mean the world to our group.

There’s a Role for Everyone

You don’t need any special skills or previous experience—just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. Here are just a few ways you could help:

  • Supporting weekly meetings

  • Organising activities or trips

  • Making the tea and helping with refreshments

  • Taking photos or managing our social media

  • Helping with admin and paperwork

  • Sharing your hobbies or expertise

  • Lighting fires, leading sessions, or just lending a hand!

Whether you want to get stuck in with the Scouts or prefer helping behind the scenes, we’ll find a role that suits you.

What’s In It For You?

  • Make a real difference in young people’s lives

  • Learn new skills and boost your CV

  • Meet new friends and be part of a supportive team

  • Get outdoors, get active, and have fun!

  • Full support and training provided

Flexible Opportunities

We know life is busy, so our volunteering roles are flexible—whether you can offer a regular commitment or just help out when you can, we’d love to hear from you.
