Adventure, skills, and fun for every young person
At 7th Plymouth Scouts, we welcome children and young people aged 4 to 25, offering exciting opportunities, outdoor adventures, and lifelong friendships. Whatever your interests, there’s a section for you—and always a new challenge to try.
Squirrels (4–6 years)
The very start of the Scouting journey! Squirrels is about making friends, learning new things, and building confidence through games, crafts, and outdoor fun.
Beavers (6–8 years)
Beavers get creative, play as a team, and begin to experience camping, simple skills, and their first big adventures.
Cubs (8–10½ years)
Cubs dive into a world of activities, including team challenges, outdoor skills, hiking, creative projects, and making a difference in the community.
Scouts (10½–14 years)
Scouts take things further with camping, expeditions, adventurous activities, developing leadership skills, and learning how to handle new challenges.
Explorers (14–18 years)
Explorers enjoy more independence, bigger adventures, expeditions, and a chance to lead and help run activities, plus opportunities for awards like the Duke of Edinburgh’s.
Network (18–25 years)
Network is the next step for young adults, combining adventure, skill-building, volunteering, and the chance to plan and run their own projects or events.
